CHRISTIAN LEVATINO
(Assistant Director)
Christian was recently awarded the BackStage West StageSpot for his
portrayal of Kim in Howard Korder’s SEARCH AND DESTROY. Last year he
was selected as one of the Top 10 Stage Actors in Los Angeles by
REVIEWPLAYS.COM for his illuminative performance as Barry Champlain
in Eric Bogosian’s TALK RADIO (also nominated for an L.A. Weekly
Best One Act Ensemble Award 2007). In 2006 he was nominated as Best
Supporting Actor by the L.A. Weekly for his turn as the nitrous
wielding Dopey in Lanford Wilson’s BALM IN GILEAD (nominated for an
L.A. Weekly Best Revival Production Award, as well). Christian is
proud to have recently directed and produced the world stage
premiere of George A. Romero’s NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD at the
Stella Adler Theatre. Levatino received a B.F.A. in Theatre and a
B.A. in English from the University of Connecticut. He is the
Artistic Director and Founder of The Award-Winning Gangbusters
Theatre Company in Los Angeles.
