Bob is a Chicago based scenic and lighting designer whose work has
appeared around the world including Chicago, New York (Off
Broadway), Los Angeles, Dublin, Galway, Edinburgh, London (West
End), Jerusalem, Singapore and across the nation on the A&E Cable
Network. In Chicago his set and lighting designs have appeared on
the stages of Steppenwolf Theatre, Northlight, The Next Theatre,
Famous Door Theatre, A Red Orchid Theatre, Plasticene, The Organic,
The Apollo, Pegasus, Apple Tree, Victory Gardens Theater, Mary-Arrchie,
New Crime, Live Bait, Powertap, Irish Repertory, Light Opera Works,
Remy-Bumppo, greasy joan, The Second City, Terrapin, Porchlight
Music Theatre and dozens of other Chicago companies.
He designed the original and several subsequent productions of Tracy
Letts’ Killer Joe culminating with last years’ multiple award
winning production by Lost Angeles Theatre. Bob also designed the
Chicago production of
BUG,
and he if thrilled to be back at Lost Angeles for another shot at
this amazing play. Bob has been nominated nine times and received
seven Joseph Jefferson Citations, three After Dark Awards, an
Ovation nomination, and an Emmy nomination.
