Hollywood, CA - Lost Angels Theatre Company is proud to present the West Coast Premiere of Tracy Letts’ KILLER JOE coming this MARCH! This will mark the first time LA theater-goers can sink their teeth into the Pulitzer-nominated Letts’ work. Letts, a member of the prestigious Chicago-based Steppenwolf Theater, broke onto the Chicago scene with KILLER JOE in 1993 to rave reviews. KILLER JOE has skipped continents, landing at the 1994 Edinburgh Fringe Festival (where it won a First Award), The Bush Theatre in the West End and eventually coming back to the states to conquer Off-Broaway with a cast including Scott Glenn, Amanda Plummer, Sarah Paulson, Lori Petty & Fairuza Balk Since KILLER JOE’s original Chicago production, it has played in 20 languages in 26 countries over the past 10 years. Letts currently has the hit 2004 Lucille Lortel and Obie award winning play BUG which has been running Off-Broadway since the Spring of 2004. It’s hard to believe that this production marks the first time KILLER JOE will land here in Los Angeles!

Set in a trailer park in the “Outskirts of Dallas,” KILLER JOE is gritty, no-holds-barred story about the seedy side of life, filled with violence, revenge, hate, greed, sex and humor.
